STEKKEL is a crypto native luxury fashion brand started on the Ethereum blockchain November 2021, marked by an interactive ERC1155 token called the BLUEPRINT. The brand focuses on solutions to display digital assets through physical fashion. STEKKEL is design focused and technology driven.

The BLUEPRINT is the Genesis NFT collection of Zoë Stekkel and the first NFT launched by the STEKKEL brand.

The BLUEPRINT is the brands roadmap and only BLUEPRINT holders are eligible to order physical pieces from the brand.

The artwork of the NFT descends from the original conceptual drawing of the bag from 2014 and is now an interactive 3D object that breathes on the blockchain as the parts of the bag move in and out.

NAME HISTORY

STEKKEL, formerly Von Steckel, is the Family name of the founder Zoë Stekkel. The name descends from the ancestors who were slaves of the German family Steckel, hence the name Von Steckel = slaves of the family Steckel.

After the abolition of slavery, the freed slaves kept the slave owner's surname and were allowed to make a change, hence Von Steckel = Stekkel.
